Fifty-Five Years of Landmarks Preservation Commission (LPC)

PKSB Architects would like to congratulate and celebrate Fifty-Five Years of Landmarks Preservation Commission (LPC).

Former LPC Chair from 2001-2003 and Principal at PKSB Architects Sherida Paulsen, is quoted talking about preservation in the Bronx.

“Preservation in the Bronx celebrates both nature and architecture – Wave Hill and the Bartow Pell Mansion are incredible community resources on both east and west sides of the borough. I am also so proud to have designated Bronx Community College’s Begrisch Hall by Marcel Breuer, which sits in the middle of the Bronx on a campus notable for its Stanford White plan and stately buildings, including the Hall of Fame of Great Americans and Gould Memorial Library.”

- Sherida Paulsen, Chair, 2001 -3
