Multi Housing News Announces the 2025 Excellence Awards Winners

PKSB’s project, The Gregory at 991 St. Johns Place in Brooklyn received Gold for Best Adaptive Reuse at the 2025 Multi Housing News Excellence Awards.

In 2018, after over a decade of neglect, the Landmarks Preservation Commission, bolstered by strong support from the local community, greenlit GEMA Capital Partners plan to restore and redevelop the historic landmarked schoolhouse. Thoughtfully executed by PKSB Architects, the redevelopment converted the 41,900-square-foot structure into a multifamily residence, with 30% of its 40 units dedicated to affordable housing.
