The adaptive reuse of the former home of Puck Magazine and its printing presses required careful coordination and keen attention to detail. PKSB served as Architect of Record for the residential conversion and rooftop additions at the Puck Building.

The project went through an extensive public review in 2011. Once approval was obtained, PKSB coordinated several fast-track packages for bid and construction which resulted in an expedited construction schedule. Construction was phased and included several overlapping components including: infrastructure upgrades, structural reinforcements, exterior façade restoration, rooftop addition, and apartment interiors which PKSB coordinated with Interior Architect, Jose Ramirez.
