The New York-Presbyterian Hospital, Westchester Division, formally called the Bloomingdale Hospital, is a 214-acre complex located in the center of White Plains in Westchester County, New York. The 165 acre campus was designed by F.L. Olmsted and Co. and is listed on the State Register of Historic Places. PKSB provided Master Planning services which addressed circulation throughout the campus and integration with the surrounding context.
The Millennium Preservation Master Plan provides a comprehensive and integrated program of partnership opportunities to help maintain the historic district buildings and landscape, strengthen the existing academic medical center’s services, and to provide recreational amenities for the White Plains community. The Plan balances the opportunity to preserve a significant 60-acre public park with the expansion of existing medical, residential and commercial uses. All of the elements of the Plan are interdependent and together set the future stewardship of the entire campus.
