34 HOWARD STREET  NEW YORK, NY

Built in 1868 and designed by renowned architect, James Renwick, the marble and cast iron building at 34 Howard Street has undergone several unsympathetic alterations at its base. PKSB designed a storefront that restored the spirit of Renwick's original facade while meeting modern retail needs for signage, display windows, and ADA accessibility. Upper floors were converted to prime office space with new restrooms, shared pantries, new windows, and a freshly painted facade.
